For dust & fume extraction systems

The 2002 COSHH regulations state that all Local Exhaust Ventilation systems must be maintained in a good efficient state, and also to be tested at least every 14 months in order to protect people from hazardous dust and fumes, which can be a major health hazard.

This means that in addition to having your LEV systems tested regularly, you must also ensure that you carry out regular maintenance checks as well as recording these checks upon completion.
