VERIFY is a new addition to the Robotas Mascot family of products. The combination of it’s camera, lighting and software technology provides the ability to verify in real time the presence and polarity of components during assembly and prior to soldering. The image above shows the System fitted to a Standalone Mascot System with 2 Carousel Dispensers. The VERIFY System is suitable for all Mascot configurations (Benchtop, Standalone, Pushtrack and Conveyor) and can also be supplied as a Retrofit Kit.
Verify has been designed to catch errors if a polarised component has been placed incorrectly, or an operator has forgotten to place a component while the build is still occurring. Corrections can be made at the point of placement completely avoiding any rework of the PCBA. Verify programs are also integrated as part of the core Mascot programming software, with only simple steps required to create an inspection test for any PCB.
