Features

DeepPleat
The DeepPleat pre-filter features a sealed pleated layer of F8 media, with a height of at least 100mm, providing an impressive surface area relative to its size.

HEPA filter

Donaldson BOFA utilises mini-pleat HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters, tested and certified to a minimum efficiency of 99.995% for particles as small as 0.3 microns and 95% for those as small as 0.1 microns. These filters feature a series of webbing between the pleated media, ensuring even spacing for full filter coverage while also reducing the risk of airflow vibration or collapse.

Advanced carbon filter (ACF) technology

ACF aids in capturing and filtering potentially hazardous fumes. To ensure contaminants and odours are properly removed, the contaminated air must remain in contact with the carbon bed for a sufficient period (‘dwell time’). Our filters are engineered to trap pollutants and odours efficiently, minimising the risk of bypass or tunnelling.

Reverse flow air (RFA) technology

The RFA technology feature reduces air velocity and changes the air direction, causing larger particles to fall out of the airstream and into the filter’s drop-out chamber. With fewer particles reaching the filter media, the filter life is significantly extended, improving capture performance and ensuring longer-lasting filtration..

Multi voltage sensing (MVS) unit

Automatically detects the local voltage and adjusts accordingly, ranging from 100V to 230V.

System OK signal (Optional)

Our system’s OK signal notifies you of any faults, filter blockages, or when filters are nearing full capacity, enabling you to schedule maintenance more efficiently.

Remote stop/start signal (Optional)

The remote stop/start signal ensures that your Donaldson BOFA fume extraction system operates only when your machine is running, helping to reduce both operating costs and energy consumption.

VOC sensor (Optional)

The VOC (volatile organic compound) sensor continuously monitors exhaust air and alerts you if VOC levels surpass the pre-set threshold, preventing the release of unwanted VOCs and other unpleasant odours.
