Description

The Donaldson BOFA V1000 iQ is a high-performance extraction system that combines an exceptionally large filter capacity with high airflow and pressure rates. Designed for heavy-duty applications, it efficiently captures large volumes of particulate and gaseous organic compounds. This versatile unit can support up to 15 operators as a centralised system (depending on installation) or be used to extract fumes from automated soldering machines.

Enhanced with advanced features, including Donaldson BOFA’s Intelligent Operating System (iQ), the V1000 iQ stands among the most sophisticated extraction systems available. The iQ system optimises performance, minimises maintenance and downtime, and reduces overall ownership costs.

Features

Intelligent Operating System (iQ)

Advanced extraction monitoring and control system bringing multiple performance enhancements to help with higher efficiency of extraction, independent filter status monitoring and integral design features that combine to help deliver a lower cost of ownership. It monitors the status of both the pre-filter and combined (main) filter.

DeepPleat DUO pre-filter

This pre-filter comes in three main sizes and incorporates a massive drop-out chamber and large volume area within the base of the filter. Above the drop-out chamber but still within the housing there is a sealed 200mm deep pleat layer of F8 media giving an impressive surface area.

HEPA filter

Donaldson BOFA uses mini pleat design HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filters which are tested and certified to a minimum efficiency of 99.995% down to 0.3 microns and 95% as small as 0.1 microns. They incorporate a series of webbing between the pleated media. This feature not only has even spacing for full filter coverage between each pleat but also helps to alleviate the possibility of airflow vibration or collapse.

Automatic flow control (AFC) Technology

Automatic flow control (AFC) allows the operator to pre-set the correct airflow rates for the specific application, subsequently helping to maintain the airflow. This generates lower noise levels and helps to protect the more expensive HEPA filters.

Reverse flow air (RFA) technology

The RFA technology feature causes a fall in velocity and air direction change. Larger particulate falls out of the airstream into the filter’s drop-out chamber. With less particulate entering the filter media the filter life is significantly increased, helping to enhance filter capture performance and help ensure longer life.

Advanced carbon filter (ACF) technology

ACF helps to capture and filter potentially hazardous fumes. Contaminated air must remain in contact with the carbon bed for a period of time sufficient to help ensure that no contaminants or odours are emitted (‘dwell time’). Our filters have been developed to help capture contaminants and odours, helping to eliminate the risk of bypass and/or tunnelling.

Onboard compressor (optional)

Our onboard compressor is designed to provide the laser with its air supply requirements. Unlike standalone air compressors, our onboard compressor sits inside the extraction system for a simpler, more compact installation.

Remote stop/start signal (optional)

Our remote stop/start signal ensures that your Donaldson BOFA fume extraction system operates only when your machine is running, helping to save on both running costs and energy.

VOC sensor (optional)

Our VOC (volatile organic compound) sensor continuously monitors exhaust air and alerts you if VOC levels exceed the pre-set threshold, preventing the unwanted release of VOCs and other nuisance odors.
